2022 WWU Pride Celebration

2022 WWU Pride Celebration
0Comments

June is Pride Month, and we’re kicking it off with a celebration of LGBTQ+ people and culture at Western on Wednesday starting at 4 p.m., including free T-shirts for the first 200 people!
The Pride Celebration will start at the flag poles near the Rec Center and will include a program with remarks from student and faculty leaders and WWU President Sabah Randhawa. LGBTQ+ student club leaders will raise the Pride flag, and LGBTQ+ Western will honor LGBTQ+ students who are graduating, giving them rainbow cords to wear at Commencement. Then we’ll head to the Comm Lawn for food, fun, and resources.
Thank you to student Al Pecson for the beautiful art in our event graphic!
