Each year, an employee who demonstrates dedicated service to the community and exemplifies the values of the Anacortes Police Department is selected by our administration to be recognized with the Employee of the Year Award.
At our recent Department meeting, Community Service Officer Zabrina Nybo was honored as the 2022 Employee of the Year. Officer Nybo took an increased call volume and workload in stride in 2022, completing an impressive number of tasks without fail while also working to review and update the City’s Animal Control ordinances. Listing all the reasons why Officer Nybo deserves this award would probably take several posts!
