We have a few spots available for our Citizens Academy starting on March 6, 2023. 

WCSO’s Citizen’s Academy gives you an inside look at the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office. The academy covers a variety of important law enforcement topics, procedures, and operations, such as patrol, investigations, K-9, jail operations, search and rescue, and more! Law enforcement professionals facilitate the classes and offer a unique and exciting way to learn about your Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office. It is an opportunity to learn how the Sheriff’s Office serves the community.

The Spring 2023 academy will be mostly virtual, with a few in-person classes. It will be held every Wednesday 6p-9p from March 6 – May 24, 2023.
