Tuition for Washington residents attending Bellingham Technical College rose by 2.3% for the 2022-23 school year, based on the most recent information released, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Washington residents paid $4,095 to attend the public four-year institution this year, marking an increase of $91 from the $4,004 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Non-resident students faced tuition costs 30.8% higher than those of residents in the 2022-23 academic year, paying $5,357. This amount reflects a 2.5% increase from $5,227 in the previous year.

Approximately 97% of the undergraduate student body at Bellingham Technical College are Washington residents, while about 3% come from other states.

Data indicates that 71% of full-time undergraduates who began studies at Bellingham Technical College in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. Among them, 119 students were awarded grants or scholarships totaling $1.1 million, and 22 students obtained student loans exceeding $142,072.

Across all undergraduates, 1,022 students utilized grants or scholarships amounting to $9.2 million. Additionally, 141 students borrowed $930,309 in federal student loans.
