Skagit County recently issued the following announcement on March 5.

For those impacted by November 2021 flooding, the deadline to apply for FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency grants or U.S. Small Business Administration loans is fast approaching. All applications are  due by MONDAY (March 7) at 11:59 p.m.  

There are three quick and easy ways to apply with FEMA: 

–  on-line at www.disasterassistance.gov ;  

– By downloading the FEMA App.  To download the app on Apple devices text “Apple” to 43362, and for Android devices text “Android” to 43362.

– By calling the FEMA Help Line at 1-800-621-3362 

Applicants can apply online or get more information about US SBA loans at https://disasterloanassistance.sba.gov/
