This watercolor workshop will explore Winter Seasonal mountain and forest themes from our lush Northwest cedar and fir forests. Participants will learn to draw and paint mountain forms and suggest snow on tree and branch forms by looking carefully at using the pure white of the paper as snow and frosted surfaces. All materials provided to include watercolor paper, paint, brushes and drawing tools. We will be working on very traditional cold press cotton rag watercolor paper in a larger size to allow participants to work on their painting for the entire workshop. Bird’s eye point of view and atmospheric perspective will be taught.
