Rick Larsen, a U.S. Congressman representing Washington’s 2nd district since 2001, has recently shared his views on various topics through social media. His posts reflect his stance on law enforcement, presidential pardons, and reproductive rights.

On January 22, 2025, Larsen expressed gratitude towards law enforcement officers. He stated: “The women & men in local, state, federal & Tribal law enforcement who up to work every day to protect our communities & keep us safe. Join me in thanking these women & men for their commitment to our communities & our country.”

In another post on the same day, Larsen criticized recent actions by the new administration regarding presidential pardons. He remarked: “On its first day, the new Administration pardoned hundreds of violent felons who brutally attacked police officers on January 6, 2021. These pardons are disgusting & show an utter disrespect for law enforcement.”

Later that day, Larsen addressed the topic of reproductive rights and reiterated his support for them. He tweeted: “For nearly 50 years, #RoevWade guaranteed the right to choose. I steadfastly support the right to choose & I will continue to stand with women & advocates in WA & across the country to ensure the right to access safe reproductive health care, including abortion.”
