Mount Vernon ranked 361st in Washington for resident earnings in 2019

Mount Vernon ranked 361st among cities in Washington by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Mount Vernon residents was $28,936 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 12,396 households with a population of 35,026.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Clyde Hill with $108,194 per year after adjusting for inflation – $79,258 more than Mount Vernon. It had 1,131 households with a population of 3,329.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Parker with $8,879 per year after adjusting for inflation – $20,057 less than Mount Vernon. It had 35 households with a population of 74.
