We are excited to announce that we adopted a updated form of school-to-home communication in Bellingham Public Schools called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and to encourage greater engagement and connection with the schools and activities. It provides a unified way for staff and families to receive and send district, school, class and athletics/activities information in one centralized place.
ParentSquare gives families more choices in how and when they receive communications, and also provides a two-way option for communicating in preferred languages. The default for families is to receive all messages from each school in one daily digest.
Please note: Elementary teachers will continue to use the Seesaw app for communication about elementary student learning.
You will be receiving an activation email from ParentSquare shortly. You will automatically receive messages from your school; however, when you activate your account you can set your preferences for how and when you would like to receive messages. You can also view your “feed” in a web or mobile device browser or the free ParentSquare app, available for iOS and Android devices.
Have questions? Click the question mark in the top right corner of the ParentSquare desktop version or the Help tab on the ParentSquare app (tap the triple bar icon at the top left) to find answers to most of your questions. We’ll also keep answers to frequently asked questions at bellinghamschools.org/parentsquare.
