False alarms triggers lockdown at Sehome High School

Sehome High School, located across the street from Western's Buchanan Towers and Birnam Wood residence facilities, entered lockdown after a false call of an active shooter was placed and received by the school. Similar false-alarm calls were also placed to Blaine and Mount Vernon high schools this morning. Police responded, the school was searched, and the lockdown ended shortly thereafter.

Western will update the campus community on this event should new information become available.
