9 coaches at institution in Skagit County earned $6,290 on average in 2022

Skagit County’s nine coaches earned an average salary of $6,290 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Washington post-secondary schools during 2022.

Skagit County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $6,248 on average in Skagit County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $6,324.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
