Whatcom Community College issued the following announcement.

Club Purpose: The purpose of Student Nurses of Whatcom is to provide students with volunteer opportunities in an effort to connect with the broader community in which they will be working. Nurses provide an important connection between healthcare and community. Students can begin to foster those connections through club activities and volunteer opportunities. Attending meetings with nurses from different specialties offers insight into different nursing opportunities.
