Whatcom Community College recently issued the following announcement.

Club Purpose: The ASWCC Sustainability Club’s purpose is to challenge ourselves, the college, and the community to implement sustainable action in our daily routines. This is a great place to be if you have a passion for plants, food security, the environment, and your community. There will volunteer opportunities in the near future – for now our focus is to create a warm and welcoming space to any students who may want to explore (and further define) what sustainability and equity means to WCC’s community.
The Sustainability club’s purpose is two-fold. Firstly, to educate student populace on matters of sustainability, conservation, and responsible consumption, and secondly, to pursue and promote sustainable activities on campus and within the community of Bellingham.
Meetings: Tuesdays, 4-5pm
Zoom Meeting ID: 862 5874 6215

Contact: Cian Maes, cmaes8114@student.whatcom.edu
