The Intersection of Farm To Market Road at Josh Wilson Road is Now Open To Traffic!

0Comments

This intersection improvement project included the construction of a roundabout, the installation of an illumination system, various drainage improvements, and utility work.

While the project is largely complete, the contractor will be performing some minor finish work over the next few weeks. Drivers will see only limited impacts to travel as this work is accomplished.

The Bayview Ridge Urban Growth Area is the fastest growing area in Skagit County over the past few years.  This intersection improvement will undoubtedly serve the area well into the future by enhancing mobility and improving safety at this intersection for many years to come.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork:

We’d like to acknowledge the efforts of our partners and other agencies that also played a role in this project’s completion. These include: The Port of Skagit, Puget Sound Energy, Skagit PUDDistrict #1, and Fire Districts #12 & #6.

Additionally, we want to express our appreciation to Colacurcio Brothers for an excellent partnership towards a successful completion!

And finally, we would like to send a special “thank you” to our fellow Skagitonians, and the Bayview community for their patience and flexibility during this construction project.
More information about this Project is available online here.
