Skagit County Sheriff’s Office recently issued the following announcement on March 11.

Hello! Please join me in welcoming two new deputies to the corrections bureau.

Deputy Devin Britton comes to us after 5 years at the Monroe Special Offenders Unit for the Washington State Department of Corrections. He and his wife have three children. Devin will have to go to the Corrections Officers Equivalency Academy (hopefully in April). He is excited to continue his career as a corrections deputy.

Deputy Christian Garcia lives in Sedro-Woolley, and he is grateful to begin a career in corrections in Skagit County. He told me that he is happy to have a career where he is making a difference. We are happy that he has chosen our department to begin that career.

Welcome guys! Congratulations in making it through the pre-employment process and let’s be successful together
