Western Washington University Vikings Earn Indoor All-Region and All-America Awards During Successful Indoor Season

Drew Weber/Men's Track and Field | Western Washington University

The Western Washington University men's Track & Field team earned 14 All-West Region wards by 11 student-athletes for the 2022-23 indoor season.
 
Junior Drew Weber led the way with three All-Region awards for top-five marks individually in the 800m and the mile, and as part of the distance medley relay. Weber also earned Second Team All-America honors with his 10th-place finish in the 800m at nationals and a First Team All-America trophy as part of the DMR that placed 7th at nationals last weekend.
 
Here is a listing of WWU's All-West Region selections for the 2022-23 indoor season: 

USTFCCCA DIVISION II INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD ALL-WEST REGION:

  • Jonah Bloom (DMR)
  • Miller Campbell (Weight Throw)
  • Ryan Clough (5,000 Meters)
  • Will Henry (800 Meters, DMR)
  • George Karamitsos (5,000 Meters)
  • Brian Le (DMR)
  • Gabe Menicke (Triple Jump)
  • Nolan Mickenham (200 Meters)
  • Andrew Oslin (5,000 Meters)
  • Angelo Ramos (Weight Throw)
  • Drew Weber (800 Meters, Mile, DMR)

USTFCCCA DIVISION II INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD ALL-AMERICANS:

  • Jonah Bloom (DMR-1st)
  • Will Henry (DMR-1st)
  • Brian Le (DMR-1st)
  • Drew Weber (800 Meters-2nd, DMR-1st)

WWU wrapped up the indoor season over the weekend at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with the Vikings tying for 45th place with two teams points from the DMR that placed 7th to earn All-America honors.
