Burlington Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 13
The Stuff the Bus Food Drive for CHOW last Saturday was a great success! They brought it almost $30,000 in monetary donations and collected close to 4,000 pounds of food for the CHOW program. This ensures 2,000+ children will be fed for the next 6 weeks. Thank you to this awesome community for showing up, and to the food drive organizers Skagit Transit, Cascade Mall, United Way of Skagit County, Skagit Publishing, and Helping Hands Food Bank.
