Recently we were able to honor (former) Sergeant Peter Klein on his retirement after 37 years with the WCSO Corrections Bureau.
“During his 37-year tenure with the Sheriff’s Office, Sergeant Pete Klein worked diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of our community, our staff and the people held in custody," said Sheriff Bill Elfo. "Pete could always be counted on to find sound solutions to the many challenging situations that so frequently occur within the jail system. As a friend and mentor to many, the legacy he leaves behind will last for years to come. We wish him and his family a long and healthy retirement.”
